I would like to change my name ~Sophie~ but as it is the name my mum gave me and she is no longer around I wouldn't want to take that personal connection away so I would never change it, although I went through a phase when I was about 10 when I wanted to be called Mercedes :laugh:
I am very glad I never had the power to change it back then :P

And I don't think I'd change my surname if I got married either.

I think about kids names alot and I always like to think I'd name my kid something unusual, but I'm not going to go down the apple or tinkabell route... :nono:
Just something pretty and less common. :)

That's cool, having a last name that's coming from an ancient god! Around here people have mostly last names that came from where they were from or what there job was(thanks to Napoleon for that). On the other hand if it wasn't for the small frenchman we probably would still be naming each other son of ... son of... from the daughter of....

I'm starting to read myself into it right now and he seemed to had some strange followers with bizar rites and methods. If you liked Greece, maybe you would like Rome as well. Rome has so much to offer if you're interested in ancient ruins and history. There are so many places to visit. It's not that great as a city, and compared to other European capitals is horrible, because the climate sucks, it's dirty, and people are less civilized :lmao:

90% of people calling you won't get your name and will think you said "Carlos" :laugh:
