I have a question about this game. I've heard Fatal Frame III is a little similar in many aspects to the Grudge movies. In fact from trailers it also appears that the old style setting is not the focus of the game, there is a modern apartment and the main character is older than the characters of the other two games. I was wondering if it's true that the game has resemblances with the movie.

I don't want to spoil anything, but no, I don't think there are many resemblances between the two.

Nope they are a lot in difference, however, they are similar to the ring. Just play the game...

I've never played any of the Fatal Frame games, allthough I'm a big fan of other survivalhorror games... Foribidden siren kinda turned me away from the genre because of the repetetivness(??) and difficulty of the game.

Well Zerk, as you know im a huge proponent of the Fatal Frame games. Admittedly i just recently erased my game saves of both Fatal Frame and Fatal Frame 2, (who still has game saves from the year 2000? I finally cleaned off most of mine!) I just recently purchased the game Siren, and its not too exciting from what im seeing. I figure any game that doesnt still have a fairly active Gamefaqs board going is pretty much dead, and that and Primal are both pretty dead, ive tried both games. Do try Fatal Frame 1 2 or 3, i have to say they make most survival horror games tame by comparison... as for the Grudge, isnt that something you clean outta your oil pan???
