My girlfriend got this including a mat(???) for her birthday, didn't knew it could be that much fun. I hadn't had a laugh like that for ages, my god you could wipe me of the floor, when you get to the harder parts/move it's really hilarious. So who else is played the dancing games and what do you think? Does the gimmick wear off fast or is it still good fun every now and then??
I know I'll be playing it a lot this week!

Is the game your girlfriend got "Dance Dance Revolution"? If so, yeah, I've played this though I'm horrible at it. I personally hate the mats, they're much too flimsy and not stable...if I had a lot of money, I'd buy the actual arcade machine (tough and durable  ).

I'd say these dancing games are good fun every now and then...and they're also a great way to break a sweat, get your blood racing. I would've loved to play more but lack of time, extreme laziness, and lack of coordination hasn't given me a lot of opportunities.

No, she got dancing stage fever(got the name wrong sorry) by Konami, it has One Step Beyond by Madness on it
I actually like the dance mat we got, don't know if it's an original but it works great(allthough I never played on an arcade machine). But the game is tough as hell we were stuck in a friggin' training stage, so we got a lot of work to do.
