I tried watching 2 episodes, but I couldn't get through it. It seemed like some sort of kids fantasy type thing. (And I can't stand those) And the boys voice.... <_<
I would give it the benefit of the doubt seeing that alot of people like this, but I can't... It seems too cheesy.

And that, boys and girls, is how 4kids made God murder 40,000 kittens. (http://vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=145)

Erase your memories, get a time machine and go back to before One Piece was Anally Violated and dare to say that One Piece is crap.

*dies laughing* Oh, what an excellent strip, thanks kupo. :D It couldn't be more true, BTW.

I, regrettably, haven't seen One Piece yet but I would like to...someday...if and when the DVDs are released in the US...it seems like a very long series and I would need the time to fully watch it all. :)

I fear for Naruto, simply

its the first anime I've ever watched first as a japanese dub and now I know why when I was going on and on about how great dbz was, some of my freinds shook their heads in disgust. To me Naruto will be butchered-story, fighting, voices

and I'll look on as the masses wear their Konoha head bands and do the hand seals like everythings all cool.....but it isnt, it just...isnt

*goes to cry in the shower*

One Piece is really funny. It mixes a lot of elements, it is very adventurous too. Monkey D. Rufy's voice is weird, true, but you get used to it after some episodes. It is a very long series, requires a lot of time to watch it. I haven't watched the whole series myself. I'm not even sure it's finished in Japan. The manga was still being published last time I checked to get news and info about it.

I've heard rumblings that the One Piece dub has been canceled, or pulled from the next season on its US channel. I can imagine the Suits in their board meeting right now, hands in air shouting "where did it all go wrong! what didn't we do right!"
