Fastest time you completed MGS1 & 2

Okay I don't think this thread has been done before but I was wondering what was your fasest time to complete MGS and MGS2?

For MGS my fastest time is 6 hours 28 minutes

For MGS2 my fastest so far is 12 hours 52 mins (I haven't had this game for long though :right: )

So what is your fastest time? :confused:

Holy s***! 6 hours and 28 minutes for MGS??!! Damn! I wish I could've done that! :shock: Man, I only played MGS once, because I spent soooooooo long at the fight with the Metal Gear Rex, I didn't want to go through all that again!! So, for the time of MGS that I got was: 1 1/2 years. *feels so stupid and pathetic*
MGS2: 6 days. I honestly felt soo proud when I completed MGS2 that quickly because I thought MGS2 was going to be even longer than MGS. But, it turned out, hey! MGS2 was waaay easier than MGS.

I can beat the original mgs under 4 hours skipping cutscenes its around the same with mgs2.

I've only played MGS two and a half times, but I think I got through it in about 4 and a half hours the second time through. I started at about 7:00 at night, played it until 10:00, went to bed, and beat it at about 7:00 the next morning. I was pretty proud of myself for that :D.

I've only played MGS2 once. I think my time for that one was about 14 hours.

well i had ended mgs 1 about 6 times or more than that cause when i had ps1 almost every day i played a little part of mgs1 and kept finding out the secrets well my fastest time in mgs1 is 3 hours 54 min. that was when i had ended it third time.
as for mgs2 my fastest time is 6 hours 25 min.now a days iam finding out the secrets of mgs2 and trying to end the game "devil may cry"

and ive only "fun played" mgs2 collecting all the tags and such, and I used 13 hours i think

I forget but its possible to do it under 2 hours /w stealth and bandana, very easy on normal difficulty. This applies to mgs2 as well

Spirit i dont think there is a way to beat mgs with bandana and stealth under 2 hours i got close around the time of 2:45 but under 2 i think is impossible

Maybe you could do it if you skipped all the movies and calls and stuff. But that still sounds really hard.

There's NO way you can do it in MGS2.

with stealth i did it 2:30 without 3 hours somet. mgs2 i did it in 11 hours or so.

I Remember I Finished MGS1 For My Friend In 3 1/2 Hours... Or So....About MGS2, I Just Know It That I Cant Finish That Game Quick.......Cause Whenever I Play Or Go Through It, I HAVE To Have To See The Movie Scenes And Shots And Action. I Cant Skip Those Beauties!.! I Just Cant!.! :shock: :laugh:

okay thats a bit confusing but u can clearly see the fastest time is 1h 55m with no saves or rationed

I suspect a gameshark.If you think about it there is no way you can get under 2 hours unless you totally skip certain parts of the game.Codec calls and skipping through some of the longer ones take a lot of time.I just need more proof of this cause i really skeptical of the time.

i actually did. no gameshark. no stealth. no banadana or wigs. i skipped the cut scenes and codec of course.
