I here, I'm a n00b here. Just came here to ask a question, since you guys know a lot more about this game than me. I've started playing this game a few days ago, an something odd happened.
I was trying to throw a grenade in one of those little holes in the wall were you have to crawl to go in. The way was blocked by a grid, I I though there might be a way to blow it up. So I threw my grenade from a distance and pushed the FPV button to see if the grenade had entered the hole.
Now I don't know what I really did, all I know is that, upon having released my finger from the FPV button, I was still in FPV. Not only was I still in FPV, but I could actually walk while being in FPV!!! I tried to kick and I could actually punch (altough I couldn't see Snake's fists while doing this) and then I tried to switch weapons (yes I could do that) and switched for the Socom. Then there was a nice little laser, not like the usual laser you see in 3rd person view, it looked more real, more like the laser in MGS2. I didn't have to push the weapon button for the laser to show and I could shoot and move while in FPV.
Now someone tell me if this is just a bug or there really IS a way to play MGS like a FPS? I don't think it is a bug, since the laser was different, and I didn't have to hold the weapon button for it to show.
