I don´t get this shit...

Solid Snake was a member of Foxhound earlier, right? But isn´t Solid Snake a good guy? I mean all the bad guys like Big Boss, Revolver Ocelot, Mantis, Sniper Wolf and so on were also members of Foxhound?

I´ve understood that Snake was fooled by Big Boss in the early NES games. But in those games Foxhound were a good-guy-team right?

In the MGS games (MGS 1&2 at least) all those characters (like Revolver Ocelot, Sniper Wolf) are on the bad side which means Foxhound has turned into a bad-guy-team? Cuz I´ve understood that they call themselves Foxhound?

So my question is really... are Foxhound a bad or good-guy-team?

To my knowledge, Ocelot, Mantis, Wolf, Raven, Octopus were ex-members of FoxHound...they just turned bad. So, techically, FoxHound is still the "good" team.

k tnx mate..

just curious.. were Ocelot, Mantis, Wolf, Raven, Octopus etc a part of the 2 NES games? Did they help Snake in any way when they were on the same side? It were a couple of years since I played the games...

No, they weren't in those. The only character from those [besides Snake himself and the mention of Big Boss in the first MGS] that made an appearance in MGS was Frank aka Gray Fox aka Cyborg Ninja.

Try not to see them in terms of good or bad. They simply were soldiers. (Top-notch soldiers, mind you)

But as soldiers, they were simply doing what soldiers do: follow orders.

Do you think that what we are doing in Iraq is a good thing at all? It isn´t. We are doing something horrible and evil. Why? Because we are following the orders of an obtuse, greedy and ruthless individual. (whom we even re-eleced, LMAO)

Now, does that make us evil? Does it mean that we really agree with the reasons behind this illegal war?

I´m just using that as an example to compare what Foxhound did. They were tools of the government. Both the Snakes and the Foxhound members. They just served each as tools on their respective turns. Then, when they realized this, turned against the puppeteers "and turned bad".

Which is basically what iraqies are protrayed by washington these days: "insurgents and terrosrists"
