* SPOILER* Help for a new player, please

I am just about to confront Sniper Wolf. I have found the Sniper rifle, but everytime I get my mitts on it and try and recross the beams, I set them off. I have tried everything, I have tried creeping across on my belly, a milimeter at a time, but nothing works. If you cross the beam coming down on the left hand side, will you set off the alarm? I thought you could get across the beams if you moved really really slowly, but I can't do it. And then I get stuck inside that little room, running out of amunition as a never ending stream of guards rush in, notice me and set the alarms off again.

Can anyone advise?

The beams are moving up and down, and when the first goes up, the second goes up, the third goes down, the fourth goes up etc, so take your time one by one, get past the first beam when it goes up, I think you have to crawl on some not sure, you have to take it one by one or some you might have to get past two at a time, try that and if it don’t work tell me what patterns the beam go I can't remember properly

Thanks for the reply, but it's not the moving beams I mean (sorry, I was confusing). It's when you go to the floor which has about nine separate bunkers in it, where the floor has two trap doors. You go into one of the bunkers you can open, now that you have a level five pass, to get the sniper rifle. There are two grids of red lines, mostly going across, but with two vertical lines in each grid as well. You can't get through the middle of the grid, becasue a large oil can lies in your way. So you have to cross, making contact with the vertical beam. I can't do it. Can anyone help?

Throw a chaff greande, it confuses Infra red beams for a short while and grab your sniple rifle, you can walk through Infra beams when the chaff grenade goes off with them sparkles of yellow all over screen, it stops working after the sparkles and that dududududingdingdingdingding noise goes silent.

Thanks for the replies, I never knew about Chaff grenades confusing lasers. Obviously, I know about their effect on electronic equipment, but I didn't think they would effect lasers. I actually managed to do it yesterday, managed to crawl through avoiding all of the lines. Then successfully killed Sniper Wolf. However I've now been captured and am having to work out how not to be killed - I keep pressing that circle button and I keep dying! Never mind, at least I know what to do.

I don't know where the power supply is for the lasers, maybe I don't have the right version?

To get past the torture chamber you got to try the old fashioned way, get a pencil or pen (pencil is better) turn it the other way around so your writing end in facing away and rub it across like hell as if you were rubbing out something, you get what I mean, don’t quit otherwise you have a homosexual ending. ;)
