Cowboy Bebop game

[Vic Viper]

Cowboy Bebop is an action adventure title that will allow you to control Spike, Jet, or Faye. Players who use Spike will be privy to his full arsenal of Jeet Kune Do, while those playing as Jet will have access to his bull-dog fighting style. Whether Faye will have any special abilities is still unknown. Additional characters and gameplay modes can be unlocked, theoretically by capturing certain bounties. Yoko Kanno's jazz music is also featured.

It's unclear whether the game will follow the storyline of the anime or if the Cowboy Bebop game uses an original side story. Regardless, Bandai claims that the game will unravel mysteries in the Bebop storyline

I really don't know what to say. I mean, usually anime games aren't too bad (like the Rurouni Kenshin RPG, GetBackers RPG-ish game, Kino no Tabi's simulation game, etc.) but for Cowboy Bebop...I just don't know. :P I'm hoping that since Bandai knows how important/popular the CB series is to the US, they won't do too much damage. After all, they were the ones to licensed CB to begin with. :heh: I'm thinking this game might be better than the first CB PS1 game, which was merely a shooter with semi-okay graphics. Vic, do you know if this game is for Japan only or is it US and Japan? Thanks for the information, let us know if there's anything else! :happy:

This is going to be one of those love hate relationships, I can see it now. If they put some serious time, money, and effort into making this game something solid, Ill love em. But I swear to you if they are just trying to capitalize on the name and they release some superman 64esq trash, I will find them..I will find them and make them suffer :censored: !

Whoa now, I don't the game is going to be that bad! :laugh: Thinking to the worst, I'd say if they don't do such a good job, it might be around the "Gungrave" type grade. "Gungrave" wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't that bad (at least to me). Of course, I'm no psychic, so we'll just have to see. :)

Heh heh, it's understandable. I know how it feels to have your favorite anime/movie/game get wrecked when turned into something else. Like: Good: Vampire Hunter D movie Bad: Vampire Hunter D game. :laugh:

I probably buy this game whether it sucks or not. I'm a big enough fan that it doesn't matter. But I still hopes it turns out good.
