It's out in the US. I just read the SOCOM ll review (http://ps2.ign.com/articles/457/457886p1.html) on IGN.
Looks excellent has any of you guys picked it up already and is it all it's cranked up to be???

it's pretty fun, the terrorist have landmines and automatic shotguns. They work great, and the ranking system adds to the mix..

Doesent anyoen else find it to be complete BS that only one side (Terroists or Seals) can use the cheap weapons such as grenade/rocket launchers in a game online. To give one team rocket launchers and tell the other team you cant have them is just wrong. But thats just MY humble opinion
