Just goto a search engine and type in avatars, or you could make your own as long as it meets the forums restrictions.

Depends on which kind of avatars you want to use. There are some sites that offer avatars to use in forums, but first of all you need to know what you want in it. Making your avatars is also a good solution: it's really easy, to create a basic avatar you only need to cut or resize an image you like.
