I'm not sure I understood your question, I voted for SOTN because that' s the best side-scrolling game I've played in my life (together with Super Metroid).

Definitely Symphony of the Night. A great story, great characters, fantastic gameplay, and possibly the best soundtrack ever in a video game.

Easily one of my favorite games and a PlayStation classic.

only castlevanias ive played are those GBA castlevania. all of them are excellent, Aria of Sorrow being the best of the bunch.

been looking for a copy of Syphony of the Night, damn that game is so hard to find around here.:cry:
