what the hell?

so like, yesterday i felt like playing THPS 3 online, then all of the sudden my modem stoped working, im using a linksys router, all my PCs work fine, but my PS2 just isnt getting any signal, i took the modem out and cleaned it, then i popped in the set up disk and went through the set up again. then it said that it couldnt connect. plz plz help me!!!

EDIT: btw, i have sbc pacific bell

Okkk i got the answer. Before playing take the power cord off your router and then plug it back in. It should work. Hope that works 4 you.
