King Kong lives again

I just heard today that Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) is planning on directing on updated version of King Kong. I just wanted to know what other's thought of this. Ever since they remade Godzilla I thought it would be cool to see how the would redo King Kong. Peter Jackson though I don't have much faith in. I'm a big fan of the Lord of the Rings (The actual books) but I feel he really dropped the ball with the movies. The Fellowship was ok but what was he thinking with The Two Towers. I only hope he gets the story right for Return of the King.

My opinion is that it would be an over done 3d movie, which really are...well dull:boo: and are becoming waaaaaaaaay over rated
