i have a question is there any way at all i can play a game without a cd i have already fullyinstalled everything but i cant find the cd ( i lost it) plz tell me if there is ANY WAY AT ALL i can play the game

BTW this is a PC game Diablo 2 i just cant find the disc

I assume you mean a computer game. There are a couple of ways to play with out the cd...

1. If you can get a burnt copy then that should work just fine.

2. Some games you only need the cd to install. go to start then find then files or folders. Type in the name of the program and click search. It should give you the shortcut to play the game.

3. You can download a lot of games of Kazaa or Imesh (Or things like it). You do not need the cd to play if you download games of these things. Make sure that the download comes with the cd code if you need it to play. The downloads go really slow with out high speed. It can take up to a full day with high speed.

Those are the only ways I know how. By the way...I think you were supposed to post this some where else...not sure though...

2) O yea and will it work for expansions ?

The cd cracks are small files. Smaller then most music files. I don't know why I didn't think of that one...Nice thinking SSSnake

It should work for Expansions. I see no reason why not. I have never messed with this stuff because I have never lost the cd to a game I wanted to play badly.

as you did a full install, a crack should work. Just make sure that if you ever change PC / Format you current one, that you back up the game, otherwise it'll be lost forever!

hmm im sorry but for Diablo 2 u need the crack + u need to extract the files from Expansion cd og / play disc if u havent installed the Expansion but i u have : copy d2xmusic.mpq+ d2xmusic.mpq from your expansion disc but like u said u dont have it theres no other way man EVEN if u did a full install and dont doubt me i have been playing diablo 2 for over 2 years ;)

i think www.mewgood.com has a cd crack.. i cant remeber the other sites i know.. but if ur trying to play it online then i wouldnt its shit now (which is why i quit... a while ago..)
