March 20, 2003 - Every fighting game fan is familiar with the Capcom VS SNK series. The series brought two of the most well-known fighting game companies together in a universe crossover that could only be described as epic. But the games were always developed by Capcom, and as such, the games had a Capcom slant to them.
But now, things have changed. Playmore, developer and publisher of such PS2 games as King of Fighters 2000 and Metal Slug 3, has announced that SNK VS Capcom: Chaos is in development. Unlike the Capcom VS SNK games, SNK VS Capcom should have more of an SNK feel to it in terms of moves, timings, and specials. Though the character list hasn't been announced yet, the teaser image shows Mai, Kyo, Iori, Ryu, Ken, and Chun Li.
It is unknown what platform(s) the game will be released on (most likely arcade first), but based on how many SNK ports Playmore has done for both the PS2 and GBA, a PS2 version may be in the works.
