Ummm I can't go past the 1st page of topics in any forum or else it says I'm banned. Whats up with that.

You're probably sharing your IP with a banned member.

Ips are not the same only for the people who use the same PC Jon. They're local and they're given by internet providers. People with same internet provider can eventually share the same IPs, and this doesn't mean they're using the same computer.

It's exaclty what Hylas said in brief. It has not to be somebody using your PC. It could be somebody using the same internet provider as you, for example. Which means that there's a good amount of possibilities that's the reason you can't login.

OK finally. I haven't been able to post anything in the last couple of hours, keeps saying I'm banned. This has to be an error.

To avoid this situation we'd need to unban the banned members, and this means that these persons could come back using your same IP. Sadly, this trouble caused by members who share the same IP adresses is not our fault :(

I have a serious question, What would/could happen if you were to delete the banned members from your data base? or is it even possible.

Do you mean completely delete their accounts from the database? They could join again, because the ban would be deleted as well. We ban registered IPs, you know. If an IP address in not registered we cannot ban it (or the ban will result not effective). This is how it works.

Ive got a question now-

what would happen if you had the same IP adresse as a Administrator?
would you have the same power?

I'm not saying your not serious or I think that it was stupid, but that seems like one of those common sense things. My guess would be no, but I might be wrong.:P

No, because Admin/Mod status is given to the account, not to the IP
