Is this game any good, and does it's story line continue from Xenogears?

Well from what I have read, Xenosaga, while sharing some of the ancient artifacts and elements from Xenogears, takes place in an entirely different set of stories (and not the 5 episode saga that Xenogears took place in).

And it comes in February.

Xenosaga is Episode I in the Xeno series.

Xenogears is actually Episode V so they seem to have a bit of a Star Wars thing going on.

I can't remember where I read it, but the maker of Xenogears has stated that he is unhappy with it (he felt Xenogears was unbalanced) and we will see a next gen remake of Xenogears at some point.

I wonder why he thinks Xenogears was unbalanced. O_o

I think it's also Ep. I in the Xeno series.
