I have a doubt about it...... what exactly is the la-li-lu-le-lo? Is it the same thing as The Patriots? Is it some kind of secret organization.......is it someone.......... I feel stupid but I need to know what exactly the la-li-lu-le-lo is XD

(If I'm not wrong, Ames was an agent from them, or something like that, and so was Olga as the Ninja........... I'm confused)

Good question. I wondered about that too and having replayed the game recently, I'm still kinda lost. :heh: I'm sure Makg can help, but I think the La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo is some kind of a secret organization that's related to the Patriots. Again, I'm not sure, so don't take my word for it.

I also have a question too....okay, call me stupid but I'm kinda confused about the ending. Like...the whole AI and GW thing...I never understood that. I mean...so, what? Is the Colonel not real or is he real but had some kind of artificial intelligence for the simulation?

I'm almost sure that the colonel that SNAKE knows from the original MGS is real, as in such game Snake said that the only person he considered a friend was the Col. himself. However, where is the colonel now? Is he still alive? What is he doing?

(Actually, I am in really bad shape financially. I pay money to my ex-wife as part of our divorce settlement, among other bills...

As for the AI and GW...... the AI, well, was just that, the AI that in some respect controlled Arsenal Gear and created both colonel's and Rose's illusions on Raiden's head. But just note that Rose is real..... although I'm a little bit confused about that as well :heh:

GW, if I am not wrong, is the "program" that works together with the AI to create that massive digital censorship they talked so much about.

Well, now I got to wait until Makg appears to answer my doubts as I think the same thing you think about the La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo but I'm not sure about it either. :phew:

Tell me about it. I'm soo confused on this and I'm sure it might be explained in MGS3, but who knows if they will or not? I know that the Colonel that Snake knew in MGS was real, but the Colonel that Raiden knows just seems to be an illusion that was created just for the simulation and he's not really there there.

That was pretty funny, but those messages that pop up were pretty annoying. The one that freaked the hell outta me was when he said "Do you have a PSG-1? If you do you can use it against Sniper Wolf. Hurry and save Meryl!" My heart literally stopped and I think it was because the mention of Meryl's name even though she wasn't in this game kinda freaked me out and excited me at the same time.

And you know you're not dumb, I also didn't have clear what Arsenal Gear was after I finished the game for the second time.... what I've understood about it, is that is a huge ship with a huge load of missiles including nuclear heads and hydrogen bombs...... but not only that, also the fact that it has some sort of army of Metal Gear Rays inside of it, to protect it.... moreover, Arsenal Gear houses the AI and GW, meaning this, that it would be the Patriots' ultimate way of controlling, or ruling the country (but more than ruling it, they would manipulate people in a much deeper way than ever before)

I think that's what Arsenal Gear is but as you said, don't take my word on it because I am not completely sure that is what Arsenal exactly is.

That's right, I forgot! Okay, so the Colonel Raiden knew is not real as opposed to Rose who is real, but part illusion.

Okay, I understand a little more now. Oh, but what about when the President was talking about the Metal Gear Rays? I'm not sure if I'm remembering it correctly or not, but didn't he mention something about Metal Gear Rays protecting Metal Gear Rays in the Arsenal Gear???? Its A Program Which Contains The DIGITAL Information About EVERYBODY (Which Happens To Be A GOOD Thing For The Patriots) So They Can CONTROL Everybody. But GW Also Contained All The INFORMATION About The Patriots. Their Names, And Where They Are.

Why AI .... Was Being Used Along Side GW?
Because, So That GW Could React On Its On, U Know AI Is Almost HUMAN Thinking And All. So ............ The Program Was Created And Installed So That GW Be In Safe Hands.

But What Happened?........
VIRUS Was Inserted....... Inside GW So Patriots Would Loose All The Information. But REMEMBER The VIRUS Was Uploaded TILL 90%......... So The 10% Of Information Was Of THOSE of Patriots.........(Their Names And Everything) That Is How......SNAKE Had That DISK And Otacon Got All Their Names And Their Location!.!

ROSE Worked For The Patriots RIGHT? She Was Sent In By The Patriots......To Collect All Information On Raiden, To Know EVERYTHING About Him. But .................. On The CODEC Calls...... It Wasn't The REAL Rose. ....... So That Means.... COLONEL And ROSE Was... Or U Can Say Were The SAME PEOPLE. .. U Cant Call Them People!.! Why NOT?

Why Cant We Call Colonel And Rose People?

Interesting... now, I think I've seen that there were a couple of games where Snake was, of course, teh protagonist, which were the original Metal Gear games for the NES..... I think that the first one was just called "Metal Gear" and then the second one "Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge"

As For "Metal Gear 2 : Solid Snake"...... Is A True Sequal To Orginal "Metal Gear" Which Came Out On MSX.

P.S.: Oh and "Snake's Revenge" sounds absolutely horrible. I read about it a while back when MGS2 was close to being released and I was just horrified at this game and its mockery towards Kojima and the MGS series. Shame on them for doing that. :nono:
