What is ur fav game of all time and why?

Just wondering what everyones fav game is and why they like it so much?

Yeh sos i havent heard about i dunno why.
i myself think that either Pro Evo Soccer or GTA3 have to be 2 of my all time favs:
Pro evo soccer is brillient on multiplayer and on single player, iv never scored the same goal twice (unlike on other footy titles such as fifa)
i also play Pro evo soccer almost eveyday like i do timesplitters


and GTA3 is good cos i still play it very often and i got it the day it came out way back on october 24th so that must tell u alot.

GTA3 is my fav but it gets slpit down the middle with Half Life for the PC, the mod Counter Strike is the best, No other game has been played that much online!!

Iv got every single Half Life game,
i got
Half life
Half Life opposing force
Half Life Blue shift
i got the PS2 version as well
and countless add ons such as counter strike and stuff like that

Iv played as all the characters in the game as well, on the 1st one u play as freeman, opposing force u play as the marines (i love doin boot camp its so funny)
blue shift u play as barney (security guard)
and on the PS2 version on the co-oprative mode u play as 2 female scientists.
so overall i played as everyone apart from one of those god damn scientisits
i love playin it on the net as well

ya I have played I own it, but it is only a 1 week online game though gets really boring. But in order to be a master at half life try downloading a bunch of mods, I have play nearly 75 of the mods and they are hella fun try it

yeh ur rite about RTCW it doesnt last all that long.

i hav downloaded some of the MODs but ill try some more later.

then all time is Blades of Steal....the orignal classic hockeygame that still has to be compared with the new ones when it comes to replay value and of course RAW HOCKEY!

i like hockey games, but my fav sport game has to be pro evo soccer its so addictive, i play to much but i cant stop myself.

If we are talking soccer, then my all time favourite is GOAL for the Nintendo. Sure you could score 13 goals a game if you wanted too, but the real challenge was trying to win the world cup when you had to play all those games and never turn off the power or you lose it. Sure there were passwords but man that took forever!

well GOAL sounds like a good game and sounds like it had good replay value.
out of interest did you ever win the world cup? (if not how far did u get)

Yes I won the world cup about 12 times, and it took about 6 to 8 hours to do, thats straight gaming, of course I took brakes but thats not included. The frist round was super easy and it got harder and harder. By the time you hit the finals the game was more like 2-1 or 3-3 not 14-0 like the first round was.

But anyway, Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2 are my favorite.

Sports games goes to Madden. And as for the original NES, Techmo Bowl is a GREAT game, I have it to :D

Rather then moving I tried to get it changed to Sports realated games, it kinda worked.

the best game ever by far has to be, and will always be Guardian Heroes on the sega saturn.

many of u may not have played it which i wud expect coz the staurn wasnt that popular but it truelly is the most amazing ive ever played, and i think i might buy a second hand saturn just so that i can play it!

FINAL FANTASY TACTICS

Everything about this game is perfect. The story is really deep and better that a lot of the games out there for any genre. The music keeps you glued to the game. Although not one of the best soundtracks of all-time (C:SOTN), it is still up there. The battle system is one of the greatest I have played in any game. Strategy is a major role here. If you aren't smart enough to outsmart the computer, you will be screwed over multiple times.

Final Fantasy VIII


It's just a great, great game. Soundtrack, gameplay, story & characters.. All of it. ^_^

A very close second is GTA3 though. The freedom of it is just intoxicating.

my favorite game would have to be zelda 3 on snes and in next generation of the games i have played is metal gear solid 2 and final fantasy 7 and 10.

Narrowing it down to one game is rough. I'd have to say my fave game is Tobal 2. It's obscure, but fighting games just don't come much better.

If we are talking about anything then I'd have to say Renegade. When you get into a good online hosted game.


But if we are talking about ps2 and systems like that then I'd have to say Final Fantasy... (the one where you are mog and 7,9,10)
