Which one you enjoy the most? Watching anime on Tv or reading a manga when you want to?

The only mangas I've read were in Japanese and i didn't know most of the words because I'm still working on the language. But I love anime. It's my life, sad enough. I obcess about it. I draw it like nuts and my collection gets bigger every week.

Anime Rules!!!

Cannibal, I'm also a great anime fan, so don't feel sad for your obsession! Many persons have the same passion and also those who create them once where fans obsessed like you! ;)

I'd Love To Answer, But I Am Totally New To The World Of Animes And Manga, So I Couldn't Decide Thats Why I Selected None!.!

I definitely love both! I start reading the mangas first (and when I say "reading", I really mean looking since I don't read Japanese) then I go all crazy for the anime! I enjoy both shoujo and shounen manga, and for anime, I like particular ones! NIPPON RULES!! :D

You said you "look" at mangas because you can't read japanese...why don't you get translated ones? Some of them are fully translated and they're quite good.
Or maybe you could try to look for online translations on the web! I usually get some translations from online sources when I can't find a better place!

Where I live you can't find anime anywhere. And since I'm not allowed to order anything off the internet, I have to take what i can get.

As for the mangas that I've read, they wern't even mine, they belong to a friend of mine who has another friend who lives in Japan. She can read Japanese quite well. I looked at her mangas that she's got. It was mainly DNAngel.

She loves anime as much as I do and can also draw it better than me, or anyone else on these forums.

I envy her.

Cannibal, I'm sure you have a lot of time to improve your drawing style!
I don't know, because I haven't seen any of your pics, but I think everyone can improve little by little.
It surely takes a lot of time, but it's not impossible.
And if you look at others' works you can learn a lot!

Even though I can't read them, I don't mind looking at them and trying to translate them on my own. A lot of the mangas I like are hardly ever found on the Internet, so that's why I don't bother. :D

I like them both, in general.
But if you compare anime and manga from the same series, sometimes the manga is a lot better.
For example I love Evangelion, but I have to admit the original manga by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is much more better than the anime from Gainax staff. Sadamoto cut off all the crappy moments you can find on the anime (still Eva is probably the best anime series I've watched).
The same goes for other series, as Card Captor Sakura, DB and many others. It rarely happens the opposite thing ( the anime being better than the manga) simply because the anime is mainly a result of a larger number of persons, and they have to fill the spaces and they also have less liberty to act as they want.

I'm gonna say manga, just because I like more reading several time the same episode, than watching in on tv!:D

Cannibal, I think some people here are quite good at drawing, and about you: try post something so we can see if you're so bad as you say! I don't think so. Nobody is so bad if he spends a lot of time drawing!

I would have to say Anime since I've never read any Manga (mainly because I can't ever find any where I live :( )

I like both anime and manga, though some are better than others for different reasons.

For example, I love Masamune Shirow's work, but the only one of his manga that was translated to anime really well was "Ghost in the Shell" in my opinion, and even in that, many story parts were cut, the animation was different (but still good), and it couldn't translate the depth of the manga.

Sometimes the action in a manga is too hard to follow as well, but then again, once you can follow it easily it's very easy to imagine how nice it would look on screen.

But pretty much, I just like both anime and manga equally.

I like both of them: when I love a series I watch the anime and I also read the manga, when they both have been released.
