Why do you think Dreamcast couldn't be as much successful as the PSOne despite all its good games?
Was it a bad market strategy or anything else?

heh i wonder that myself sega is a good company and they make awsome stuff but the thing was with dreamcast. was that they released it a month before ps2 so people got ps2 cause they thought it was better. i think sega drops out too early but thats what i think.

Dreamcast failed because of ps2s hype

Dreamcast was released ages before the PS2 - a year or two before.

Dreamcast failed simply becuase of the 32X/Neptune/Saturn debacle. Consumers simply stopped trusting SEGA when it came to consoles. That combined with piss-poor marketing meant the DC was doomed from the off.

Which is a shame considering it is home to some truly great titles.
