I'm quite thick when it comes to things like this but I've heard that you can connect your PS2 to a PC monitor and i'd love to know how!

I know i've got a GFce 2 with TV out but i was told by someone that I would have to get a TV capture card?

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I believe you have to buy a special cable for the system to be able to do that. Even then I don't know if it hooks up to the monitor of your computer. I think it's just for network play. Hope I helped.

you need a ps2 video to vga converter like this one:

I don't know of any video cards with TV-in (not OUT) which you would need...

the ati all-in-wonder has video in and out. i play my ps2 on my comp sometimes to use the video capture. if you use the video in on the video card, you don't need the monitor adapter. the monitor adapter allows you to conect your ps2 directly to the monitor so you can use it like a computer, and i'm not garaunteeing the you can even play games with the adapter. its meant to be for the LINUX kit which retails for $200
