this game looks amazing, it is very similar to baldurs gate which i love, the only drawback though is that it is an online game oh well, it is still amazinghttp://www.gamesdomain.com/gdreview/zones/previews/mar02/nwn-8t.jpg

it is very similar to baldur's gate as i have said before. i love this game and have completed 1 and the tales of the sword coast and the dark side of the sword coast. And im half way through number 2, icewind dale i haven't played though but i know it is in exactly in the same style with very similpar comands and also uses the d&d 2nd edition rules. Nerverwinter nights will be using the 3rd edition, d&d rules can be quite confusing at first, with thaco (to hit armour class 0) and instead of dmage for weapons being 1-7 or whatever it is in the style of 4d6+4 or whatever, this may be confusing but after a while you prefer it because it gives a wider range of possibilities. ie a weapon, 1d6+3 means it will always do at least three if it hits, (damage is also increased by strength) but the maximum is only 9 (without strength)
whereas 2d6 minimum is 2 but maximum is 12, i find it better because it makes you work it out a bit more.

does anyone else like this style games such as baldur's gate ect?
