I want to get more into different series but i need some guidance :P what you recomedn i ahve an open mind so il watch anything, but i like a nice complex plot with alot of emotion.

That's all I own so far. For the series that has a lot of emotional stuff and kinda complex:

Fushigi Yuugi: This is a shoujo (girl's) anime, so there's a lot of "lovey-dovey" scenes, but if you can withstand that, then the plot is very good and there's a lot of tearjerker moments. It involves a high school girl who gets sucked into an Ancient Chinese book and goes in search of the Seven Suzaku Seishis and become the priestess to stop the enemy. My summary is lame, but the series is very good, trust me. The dub is better than the sub IMO.

Rurouni Kenshin TV and OVA: While the TV Series doesn't have too much emotional conflicts....it's one of the best animes out there. There's lots of action, but there's lots of emotional problems involving the main character and his past. It's about a wandering swordsman with a cross-shaped scar on his left cheek. He used to be the legendary Hitokiri Battousai (Manslayer) but now, refuses to kill and just wants to protect people. But why? The OVA deals with this question and it's a lot more emotional than the TV. Aaahhh.....such a terrific series.....

Cowboy Bebop: You want emotional? Here it is. It can depress the living hell outta ya if you relate to the characters or the situation of the characters enough. The complexity of the plot isn't too complex, but in a way it is. Involves 4 members and a dog who are bounty hunters and just trying to survive their way with little or no money. But, the real focus is on the main character and his awful past that comes to settle the score. Another "one of the best" animes out there.

Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena): Another "girl's anime", but this has got to be one of the most complex plots I've ever seen. So many mysteries and so little answers, there's some emotional stuff going on too. Deals with a girl whose parents died when she was very young. She met a "prince" who gave her a ring emblazoned with a rose symbol and told her not to give up. Later on, she goes to the Ohtori Academy school and gets mixed up with the odd Student Council and the
mysterious Rose Bride. Very good anime.

Trigun: Ahh....Trigun is very good. The first episode is light-hearted and funny, but the later episodes become more dark and sad. Taken place in the future West, involves a man with a $$60,000,000,000 (did I get that right? :heh: ) bounty on his head. His name is Vash the Stampede and has been known to create disasters wherever he goes. Refuses to kill anyone and has a mysterious and dark past. Cool cast of characters.....another popular and "one of the best" animes.

WHEW!! That's all I can think of because my brain is completely fried. If anyone else has any suggestions, please feel free. And Macceh^, if you have any questions on any anime I own, don't hesitate to ask either. :)

Hey, no prob! :) Let's see.....I started collecting anime in 1997/1998 until now. Heh....actually I would have a lot more animes in my "I Own" collection, but I sold the ones I'll never see again on Ebay, which are more "single animes", so my list is kinda shorter now. :heh:
