So who's beaten it?

How many of you have beaten Final Fantasy X atleast once? I beat it on Jan. 18th, 2001. Exactly one month after I bought it. Let me tell you, it was AMAZING! But I'm sure most of you already knew that.:p

You know how to make a person jealous, with me being from the UK i have to wait until May or something like that to get my hands on FFX, but i've read that it's an excellent game but abit linear (spelling)

Yeah, I have been somewhat bored, but I've still got 3 games in the series I haven't played yet (V, VI, VIII). I'm getting VIII in a few days, so that should keep me busy for awhile. :)

Oh ok, I am glad that you have beaten it.
I am just going to tell you, if ffx was hard, VIII is overall hard.
I never beat VIII.

X was really easy. But none of them have been as hard a IV was. That one was really dificult :rolleyes: . I'm hoping that VIII isn't as hard as that, but that it's a little more difficult then X, IX, and VII were.

FFVIII is one of the easiest FF of the series. Don't worry it isn't as hard as FFIV.

I beat it within the week, but I wanted to get through it as fast as possible for the story, then again I want having beaten it in 60 hrs by ed to save every minute of gameplay, but I ended up beating it in 60 hrs on the 6th day....

I'm about to go fight sin. I'm doing all the side quests and lots of just messing around. I've got over 100 hours into this game. I'm taking my time and getting the most out of it. :)

on all the ff series ive played, when i got to the last place i stay and train till ive got them up to level 100 or very high and done all the side quests. i do this because once ive completed a ff game i find it hard to start a new game so i may as well do as much as i can on the first go!

I'm at Jecht though which I think is the last or maybe second last boss of the game?

I only tried once but I had a very time trying to kill him, can anyone offer any suggestions, tips, etc?

I'm about to go fight Sin right now, but first I want to get everyone's ultimate weapon and at least complete most of the sidequests.

Make sure that Yuna has her special thing up, so she can use Grand summon, and have Bahamut and Anima with there specials up. Therefore, you can use three reall tough attacks, you'll beat him in no time :D .
Oh yeah, Jecht is the last boss you have to fight.

I don't have Anima, so I'm still having a hard time.
Any more/different suggestions?

Beat it Christmas break and at the Thunder PLains on my second run....this is how I beat Jecht, cast protect on everybody and Hastega, then I healed with Yuna (obviously) and used power break with Auron, although I'm not sure if he was affected. If not just hit him with Auron and I used Tidus' Quick Hit, so I kept hittin him one after another. For his second form have all your aeons on overdrive comin into the fight and let em go. finish him off if they havent. My guys (Tidus and Auron) were hittin at around 8000 each without their final weopons so it would be good to have em round there or higher. And yes i didnt get Anima either, I'm makin sure to get it all this time through.

I have 2 Admit that i played FFX for a 1/2 hour and thats it i think it is the worst one of them all then FFVIII.
