Broken Sword

My brother played the PC version of the first Broken Sword game and he said it looked a bit "inspired" by games like Monkye Island. I wanted to rent the second one for PSOne but it's not for rent anymore (where I live). I've read they're making the third episode of this series and if it's coming out for PS2 like the preceding game came out for PSOne I'll give it a try. I just wanted to know if the episodes are linked together or not. and if the game is funny as Monkey Island or it's more serious.
I like the typology of games of Monkey Island, that's why I'm asking :right:

its not as funny as monkey island.......but trust me i have it on psone....and its an amazing game!!!!!.......i love it.... u'll love it too.......buy it grrrrrll. :)

I havn't played the game for more the 2 years now..but ... it was about smoking mirrors.

it had....a very simple but complicated story line.
