Simpsons creator Matt Groening has hinted he is considering "winding up" the show.

He says much depends on whether the cult cartoon wins an Emmy for best animation this year.
Groening adds that the US network Fox wants to "wring every last penny" out of it.
"I think we are closer to winding it up," he said.
"What happens generally if we win the Emmy for Best Animation Show, is that that gives us another couple of years to run it into the ground."
Channel 4 has just paid £1 million a show for the UK rights to The Simpsons for the lifetime of the programme, reports Media Guardian (http://www.mediaguardian.co.uk/)
