memory cards
Can anyone tell me if PS2 memory cards are compatible with PS One games? My guess is no since I can't save data on my PS2 for Castlevania: SOTN.

Short answer - no, PS2 Mem Cards are not compatible with PS1 games.
The problem is that the PS1 cards use blocks to store their saves. The PS2 cards uses kb and therefore only uses as much kb as the save needs. Basically they are 2 completely differents ways of saving. However, you can transfer PS1 saves to a PS2 Mem Card for back-up purposes. - S
