A Coconut? Where did that come flying from?

*Soul starts to look around trying to see where on earth it came from*

"Hmm...free for all eh...this intrigues me, but I will not fight with someone tossing coconuts in the shadows...I'll be right back, it's time to flush em out..."

Sword 4 Hire picks up the Cross Sword and heads for the wooded area in a slow, relaxed stroll with his sword resting on his shoulder. He looks back at Soul and Black Thornn...

"Don't miss me too much, I'll be back...and hopefully with our lil coconut throwing friend heh heh heh..."

The Mercenary then disappears within the shadows of the forests canopy...

The Sword 4 Hire walks out of the forest slapping himself

"Damn bugs...can't get anywhere in there"

The Mercenary turns around and out stretches his arm palming a small fireball in his hand. With a smirk he lets it fly deep within the forest smothering it in flames. Flying embers from the flames circle high over the burning forest, turning the sky into a beacon of red and smoke.

"I'll just have to flush him out heh heh..."

The Mercenary, satisfied with his accomplishment turns around.

"But in the meantime whose gonna go at it?"

*looks around, seeing nobody replying.. he just shakes his head, sighing exasperatedly* I suppose I'm up for another round..

*with that he pulls back just a bit, lowering his stance.. shifting to a reverse grip on his sword then seeming to pull apart the hilt, splitting the blade as well.. the crystal turns back to the energy it's made out of for a second before resolidifying as two seperate swords, each about two and a half feet long and relatively thin* Shall we?

The Mercenary looks around to see if anyone else was going to volunteer...but before he could pinpoint a competitor he watches Black Thornn separate his blade into two.

"Hmmm...one against two...I don't like these odds at all"

The Sword 4 Hire leans back on his left foot, arching his back slightly away from his blade...staring it down, focusing his energy into its edge. The once unpenetrible steel turns into a fog of black and crimson mist, and begins to change form. The mist slowly began to outstretch itself into a long and slender form. Finally the mist regained its composition and emerged was a long pike with the Cross Swords shape at its peak. Armed with a 7 foot spear the Mercenay lowers his stance and awaits...

"Ready when you are..."

*grinning slowly he lowers his stance further, seeming almost wary about striking first for a moment before he springs foward, swiftly closing the distance between himself and Sword 4 Hire, first leaning to the right then tucking into a roll toward the left, coming up right beside the mercenary already pulling himself into a spin, sending dual slashes staggered upward for his side just under the ribcage and then a deeper one headed up for just underneath the arm.. not waiting to see if his strike hit home or not he carries himself away, abrubtly breaking the momentum he'd gained by widening his stance, kicking up a cloud of dust and ash as he stops, again in the same kind of low stance he just watches*

Watching Black Thornn coming towards the Mercenary made him uneasy while he measured the distance shortening rapidly. Clouds of dust circled up from the ground as Black Thornn spun towards him.

The Sword 4 Hire leaned back on one foot and brought his spear close to his body in a diagonal fashion guarding his front to the best of his abilities. The Mercenary was able to block the first strike but the second landed under his arm with a sharp pinch. Before he could feel the pain of his attacker's sword though the Mercenary brought the pike around trying to catch Thornn but was unable to as his advisary sped off. Quickly acknowledging his escape the Sword 4 Hire chased after him....picking up speed while shortening the gap. With his back towards the Mercenary Black Thornn stopped abruptly but Sword 4 Hire kept moving, spinning his mighty spear above his head as if it were as light as air. With a burst of speed the Mercenary horizontally slashes the Cross Spear at Black Thornn as he seemed to pass right through him. Now behind his opponent Sword stops...adding to Black Thornn's pile of dust in the air and turns around with his pike raised high above his head.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

With a loud and crashing blow The Sword 4 Hire brings down his spear above Black Thornn's head...

*jumps back abruptly.. blinking then sharply intaking a breath in a hiss as he feels the stinging line stick across his chest, the spear shredding what was left of his tunic and leaving a shallow furrow in it's wake.. he keeps his eyes on Sword though, his eyebrow raising confusedly as the mercenary just dissapears.. then hearing the cry he pulls back further, bringing both blades up instinctively just before the spear would have made a nice hole in his head, deflecting it foward along the shaft so the force of the strike carries it down and embeds it into the ground.. without spinning away he again shifts his grip on the blades then swiftly stabs them back, a point of each heading for either side of Sword 4 Hire's ribcage*

The mercenary watches as his spear is deflected...stunned that he had made the mistake of letting himself be caught...but before he could scold himself his spear was dug deep within the gravel of the battlefield.

Seeing that he was wide open for an attack he watched the two blades change direction towards him. As the two sheets of steel came backward...toward Sword...he quickly leaped up...abondoning his spear for a split second. The two swords aimed for his ribs connected eachother as they missed its target. As the two swords hit eachother under him, the mercenary firmly landed right on the tips of the connected swords, using them as a spring he did a back flip off of them. Crouching low he quickly grabbed his spear and stood at guard...

"Heh heh heh...that was close..."

*anticipating the dodge he draws the swords against each other, draining away the inward momentum with an elongated "shink" sound then bringing them back around, smirking slowly and nodding* Close indeed..

*then with that he lunges foward again.. pulling to the right and striking out at the mercenary's spear with one blade, then slashing down paralell to his arm, looking to cut a deep furrow, but again pulling away without waiting for the result, coming to a stop a few feet behind and to the left of the mercenary in another low stance*
