Porco Rosso

I'd like to know if Porco Rosso is good or not from those who know it. I was interested in watching it since I like any other Studio Ghibli movie I could watch, but the idea of the main character doesn't look much appealing.Though it could be the movie is excellent. I don't know anything about the story. I've only seen screenshots and heard the movie is good but without further explanations. Can you briefly tell me if you recommend it or not?

I haven't seen it yet, but I just bought the DVD a few days ago. It might take me a while before I see it, but if you would like some info on it, you can go here:Nausicaa for more information. This site isn't an official site, though it could've fooled me. It has in-depth information on nearly all SG films. I heard Porco Rosso is very good and it's licensed in the US and to be brought over sometime in 2004. Hope this helps a little.
