How old were your parents when they had you?

My dad was 22 and my mom was 19. The older I get, the more I realize how young that is to have a kid!

My parents were older than average couples. My father was 41 and my mother 34. For being a first child, that was definitely "later". It wasn't their choice though...

When there's a gap of more than 40 years with your parents, being the only child ain't much fun when you're a kid

Mid Thirties, as I was the Youngest of 3 (my eldest sister is abput 8 years older than me).

One day I will prove that being a later child causes you to be weirder because of complexities involving over / under exposure to important chemicals, as the direct result of the mother's womb becoming "tired" after having mulitple children.

Yes. I really need an excuse that bad

My mom had me when she was 25 and my dad 26. For my mother's first born, she had her at 23.

And yea, I think the first children get turn out the best. I turned out ok except that I get sick more often than my sister and my allergies are worse. But that could be fromt he fact that I ate to much to get breastfed.

My dad was 36 and my mom, 33.

I'm the youngest of three though (I have older brothers 6 and 3 years older than me), so that's why I was born when they were getting older.

Dad 21, Mom 24. They married only 6 months after they met each other, thus divorcing when I was 3.

But it is nice to have young parents like they are, even though now they're very far away from me.

My dad was about 43 and my mum was about 35, I think!

I am the baby of the family, my brothers 10yrs older than me and my sis is 7yrs older than me!

Sometimes it sucks altho I was (apparently) spoilt a bit!

I regret being born so late mainly because:
1) My mum died when I was 6 so I didnt get to know her that well
and
2) now my dads getting older, I worry he wont be around to see me get married ect.. and I still feel really young and not ready to be without him!
Altho Im sure he'll be around for a while as ppl seem to live to a ripe old age in my family.

Also a bad thing about being the youngest is that it's been proven that the youngest childs more often than not the dumbest!!
Honest!
And apparently the middle child the smartest, which is so true in my family!

hehe... I do hope not (i'm a baby too!). Its widely accepted in our my family that its the other way round... though my eldest sister is probably smarter than me

I would have thought that the older your parents the more "wise" you were, on account of the experience of life (and in some cases, bringing up a child) that an older parent can give you. Not sure about intelligence though; perhaps a kid with older parents has a better chance of being pretty intelligent, but anyone with younger parents can still be as Smart.

But i'm no psychologist. Those words will probably make people sleep easier at night.

hi

may be i am diffrent

in our country you don`t , u know, (do the thing) with your girl untel u marry her

and we dont have an age broblem

so u can marry an adult girl even if she was 12 years old or younger and the same about u

so my father ( god bless his soul and forgive him) was 17 when he married my mom , she was 14 , and she gave birth of my sister at 15 and my brother at 17 and finally me at 24

so i am the youngest

but now with the broblems of making money it is hard to marry

without having a jop

and u cant get a jop easlly untel u finish study at college

and if u want a high salary u have to study hard

MIddle child the smartest, huh? Well, if it is the case then it's not always that it's shown through your grades in school. I'm the middle kid, right in the middle of 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and my grades are probably the worst, and probably will be, out of the others. I say will be because my younger sister, who happens to be the youngest, still hasn't finished middle school so there'll be a little more time before I'd be able to compare grades.

Anyway, back to the topic. My mom was 23 and my dad was 26 when they had me. Considering that my older sister, she's the oldest, is 5 years older than me my mom was 18 when she had her first kid now that I think about it. Now that's a scary thought, kinda. So, my dad was about 23 when my older brother was born. Oh yeah, my older sister is actually my half-sister, my dad wasn't with my mom when my older sister was born.
