I saw the new one from a different place. It made a lot more of my friends want to see it now.

The scheduled release date of it is somewhere in the Summer 2004 quarter.

I never thought a Final Fantasy project would excite me again, but this trailer did. Its perfect. Especially the choice of music. Simply Amazing.

Oh my... those pics actually made me interested! A good percentage of those new shots look near live-action and frankly, quite incredible... Nice to see Tifa, the Turks (damn... its been so long - thats Reno and ... which one was the bald one?), Vincent and Yuffie (well, I never particuarly like Yuffie, but what'll you do). No sign of Barrett, Red XIII, Cait Sith (or the guy who controlled him... damnit my memory IS fading!) though... perhaps the last two won't make the cut because of the fact they look out of place...

with the help of my very limited hiragana and katakana alphabet knowledge (ok, so 95% of the time I used the table in the back of my book), I bring you, a translation of a few little words on the pics...

Top right, the names of the white haired peeps (who appear throughout the article):

Top most: "kadaziyu" (da is elongated, hence " | ")
Top Left: "yazu" (zu is elongated)
Top Right: "rotuzu" (the guy)

- Cloud is fighting one of them, the text reveals "kuraudo VS yazuu" (say "ka ra u do" aloud if you're not convinced it sounds like cloud)
- Tifa is also fighting one of them, as the text reveals "teihua VS rotuzu"

I could translate more, but I don't have the time really... plus, once i've got it into romaji, I can't actually translate the words... unless I had a Japanese dictionary... hmm...

No idea... i'd hazard that its an enemy from the original game, certainly. Hojo seems a reasonable guess, but perhaps it's Sephiroth himself? I get the impression that the white-heard lot are related to old Sephy beyond their choice of hair dye.
