Abortion.

The choice of aborting an unwanted child has had an extremely high rate world-wide in the past years. However, I think it is wrong to do so. I think such for the simple fact that I do not believe we have the right to take life away from another no matter the age. What are your opinions on this subject?

I'm against abortion. Mainly because 10 years ago I got a girl pregnant and she had an abortion....I had no say whatsoever. Sometimes I wonder what that person would be like if she had let him/her be born.

I'm anti-abortion. I say if you don't want kids, don't have sex. No one has the right to kill someone, especially a helpless child. And I don't believe all that crap about how it's "just a fetus", or whatever they say. IMO abortion is disgusting...

I think taking a life is very wrong... but what if the child was born into a mother and no father, a mother that didn't want him/her and treated them like hell? I don't know... I'm kinda in the middle. There're so many babies that're born and then put up for adoption.

To me it depends on the situation, say if a woman was raped and got pregnant from that, I think I would lean toward an 'It's her choice" view..

In most other situations though I think that both parents should need to approve it in order for it to be done. I don't believe it's really "murder" at that point (it's my personal belief that 'souls' are given to babies in the womb once the brain's mature enough to allow for thought processes, or at least more complex ones.. in other words around the time the baby actually starts moving around), but the father, unless he's some rapist scum, should have a right to know and have a say in the matter. It's much less likely if both parents have a say in the matter for an abortion to happen. And while I think in some cases it should be the woman's choice, I dislike the idea of it.

No matter what the case may be,ABORTION aint right.
Its totally unacceptable.People who say that circumstances and stuff like that may tend to make abortion a good idea have to really sit down and think about the subject at hand critically.In the case of a person being rapped,I think institutions or care centers should be set up for both parent and child to be well catered for.No parent has the right to deny a mortal the right to smell GODS free gift(AIR).

I also think that people should always plan ahead.Its due to lack of proper planning that Teens and youths in the world are having a hard time bearing the responsibilities of being a parent,If you dont want to be a parent,dont have unprotected sex or do not get involved sexually untill you are married or mentally matured enough to bear responsibilities.Moreso,the female parent is in danger of loosing her life due to the aborting process.

Conclusively,ABORTION is very bad no matter what the case may be.Well thats my opinion.

Its a good thing that we are in a world were women are allowed to work.The mother can work in order to support her child.

For the same reason kids drink or take drugs. Teens aren't stupid, but they aren't exactly thinking responsibly all the time either. I'm not speaking for everyone, but I remember myself. I thought I knew it all....what a dumbass I was. I'd like to go back in time and kick my own ass.

Would you have her life pretty much f*cked or have her go through the pain of carrying and delivering it only to put it up for adoption and put it through a life of hell?

Abortion is a really odd subject, but I think I'm pro-choice.

A baby, unintentionally born is a terrible thing. Many people here have said that the parents should have to keep the child, as a sort of punishment. If the parents have no desire to have the child then it would be a horrible environment to grow up in. Living life as a mistake would be awful on your self-esteem, family relationships, and developing your identity in younger years.

Also, many unintentioned conceptions are from teenagers. Again, the parents need to support the baby. I agree that it's wonderful that we live in a world where women can work to support themselves, but if they're teenagers or young adults still involved with finishing an education so they're adequatly prepared to enter the work force, then it's more than likely that they'll have to settle for jobs with bad pay (unless something of a miracle occurs). Paying for a child's care, food, clothing, etc. would burn through whatever money was there. Many teenage fathers also find ways to escape the consequences of child raising (of course, there are always exceptions), making it even harder on the mothers.

A child born from a rape would be horrendus for both the mother and the child. Could you possibly imagine seeing a reminder of a scarring event in your life in your own child? Also, explaining to him or her that his/her father is a brutal criminal that committed a huge crime against his/her's own mother? This is definently a situation in which I believe that abortion is alright.

Once again, I haven't accidentally pregnated anyone before so I can't speak from experience as a father made so by mistake. These are just my views as a teenage pseudo-Christian.
