Video Game Awards on TNN!.!

Its been decided that "The New TNN" would be hosting first ever VIDEO GAME AWARDS SHOW. Well there have been awards before but none ever aired T.V.

These Video Game Awards will be aired and the judges would be people from inside industry and "us".. the fans. The awards would air in the Fall of 2003.

And here are some of the type of Nominations..which in my opinion are awesome/cool.

Categories include coolest villain, hottest heroine, soundtrack, hottest graphics, pro sports game, celebrity actor and actress in a game and "most addictive." The show also will honor "Game of the Year" and give out at least one award whose winner may not be thrilled: "Most Difficult to Master."

yeah i heard about this a few months back. i'll probably watch it for like the first 10 min or so to see if it's any good. I'm thinking it'll probably be pretty damn lame, if they don't have Miyamoto, Itagaki,Yu Suzuki, or Kojima there. Any serious game award show would have at least one of them there.

First I heard of it...good thing they'll show it on TNN too instead of G4 (which seemed highly probable for a show like this) so that more people could watch it. Should be amusing though.

Yeah I really doubt that'll happen, or may be whoever might win the most awards, they would let one of them know so they'll come in to recieve. Atleast they'll be coming in for something then.

The celebraties that I heard were all B-Class..... I know it doesn't sound that great..... but I think Rock/Pop starts might come as well......for performances.. (I hope).

As its the first time ever..... things are going to be a little shabby, year by year it'll get better (Only if this one is a successer).

I'll check it out and I hope that someone who was in Grandia Xtreme will get the actor or actress in a video game award.

I will probly watch it. A video game award show would be cool. I know I have TNN because sometimes I watch Real TV on it.

I would post results if I ever watch it, I might forget about it like I always do. Also, I think it's great that they're doing an awards show for soemthing that hasn't had one.

I think best Villain should go to either Liquid Snake or Sephiroth. Sephiroth might be the mainstream for most online sigs and user's, but that clarifies the fact that he's so badass. Come on', he killed Cloud's chick, his own father, and tried to destroy the world.

Who? Anyway, best villain would definitely not be the one in Grandia Xtreme, he wanted something that wasn't ruly evil and in a certain light it might have been a good thing if his plans came true.

I would think Villian would refer to the Enemy of the playable character, although Tommy is the badest guy in Vice city, I dunno.

I'd say Sephiroth for villian, but because FFVII is old now, they#ll probably go for a newer PS2 game villain.
