WHAT?!

This was one of the saddest games I ever played. There were so many RPGs that were better.

Animal crossing...it sounds like a game where you help frogs cross the street...

Never played the game, but I know it's more than just helping animals across the street and the game goes on even after the console is shut off.

The only game on that list I played was Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It looks like they may not have playeed many games in those categories, but that's just what I think. Thanks for the info.

Now thats one of the most important award in my opinion, seriously......and Animal Crossing recieved it. Seriously guys that game must be the most amazing game in the coming years. Last year I believe MGS2 won that.

Most people dont know about GC games, and by the looks of it they ignore them. I dont play RPGs at all, still I know that Animal Crossing is suppose to be one of the best RPGs ever. If I liked RPGs I would have bought it, but I just dont play them so I dont have this game. Still an RPG fan should not miss out this game.

Yup! That game rocks...... seeing the Sega GT 2002 was a great game as well, I was worried that NFS HS2 would be over shadowed but it didn't happen! YEAH!

heh I've been playing Hot Pursuit 2 for hours today, Great Fun.

Ploice choppers dropping bombs and firing rockets at you, ok that was a little too far, but as I said, It's fun!

I really don't think it deserved these awards. Metroid Prime was a better game. And I didn't think the gameplay was outstanding. (And I own an X-Box)

I didn't think this game great. It was the best of the Lord of the Rings games but it didn't look all that great.

I agree with you on the Splinter Cell thing, Metriod Prime is a much much better game...... but still GamePlay wise, the new stuff that Splinter Cell showed us was quite mind bending. As a FPG (First Person Game).... Prime didn't brake the ground (I am talking about actual Gamplay wise..) That is something new that we never saw before. Still I think MP is a better game then SP and those awards just could have been on MP's side.

As for LOTR, I think I agree with the Judges, the game is visually stunning and the cut scenes from actual MOVIE to GAME is just mind blowing. How they transferred a movie into a game is outstanding. But still... opinions are opinions.

I agree with you their, splinter cell was all about graphics IMO, the gameplay was arkward and stupid at times.

The graphics are probably better then I give them credit for, but I am a huge lord of the rings fan and just expected something truly amazing (didn't get that with any of the games) But the movie to game scenes were done well, I'll give em that.

I agree with all of the awards except the Animal Crossing one... Is this for year 2002? Because I believe Suikoden 3 came out late 2002, didn't it?

Medal of Honor: AA deserved the PC First Person game of the year.. That game was excellent, although I'm not sure I agree with Battlefield: 1942. It was a good game, but only for multiplayer. A lot of people are going to look at that award and think it has a better single player experience than MoH AA, which is entirely untrue.

I agree with there, MOH AA was so addictive, it well deserves PC first person shooter games of the year.

The only game on the list that I've played is The Two Towers. I liked the cutscenes and the other aspects of the graphics and I think it did deserve some award for it.
