Question Do you ever read manga?

I've seen lots of topics on anime and anime series, but not as many on manga. Don't you like to read them or don't you read them at all?

I love manga! I've started reading them not much time ago. It was because I knew some of the anime I used to watched were taken from manga and I wanted to read the original to see the differences. now I can say I love manga even more than anime. Not that I don't like anime, but manga is a more "personal" thing. You can read in some cases the notes of the authors as well, in which they explain the reasons of a choice or the origins of a character and so on. It's really interesting.

I wanted to know if there are other manga fans around here

I'm just starting to get into manga. I've only read a couple so far but I really enjoy reading them.

If it was easier to get manga I'd read it more, but it isn't really that easy to get where I live.

Yes, I read some manga now and then. I used to read more last year, now I'm a bit tired of them, but I'll be getting new manga when I'm again in the mood for this kind of things.

One Piece is the manga i love the most, but I've enjoyed reading many others.

Yes, I read manga as well. I mostly get a lot of shoujo manga, but I also get shounen depending on the series. My 2 fav. mangaka right now is Yazawa, Ai (and I'm reading her current series right now) and Takaya, Natsuki.

Reading manga after watching too much anime is refreshing. Anime is cool, but definitely manga is more relaxing. Sometimes I like to read and watch the same series, to see differences. There are some manga series that aren't so good compared to anime, mainly when they're taken from the anime itself (instead of the opposite thing, which is more common). Usually, I'm not disappointed when I read a manga that inspired an anime series I liked, but when in the opposite case, I rarely like the manga.

I like reading Manga a lot but I like watching Anime as well. I like reading so that is a good reason why I would like Manga more. What are your favorites Meiko? Let me know in someway.
