I promise that I won’t ever misguide ya step
I promise I wont ever deface or soil ya rep
I swear to uphold the truth through my word,
& nothin’ but
I promise to never get stuck ina style, I mix it up like a mutt

But really though, I’m really just a poet, but through my vocals I must show it

Tore it up, but to me it just aint enough truely
I promise to untie what was once confined with cuffs
