I was just wondering if anybody else saw this mini series that aired on USA. I don't want to spoil anything so I will keep my comments to a minimum.....

I thought it was really good. Gives a different view on one of the best stories ever told. I almost broke down in tears near the end. Surprised I didn't, no one was in the room

I watched the majority of it as you Know preventer and although I didnt enjoy the first installment all that much the second was very good. But TEARS !?. And oh no, no tears fell from these baby blues you girly man !

Didn't watch too much of it, but did get to see most of the main parts. The ending didn't make me sad or anything though, since I already knew what was going to happen from reading the book, Troy .

Lot of Troy stories messin' about.

Movie with Brad Pitt I think? And this, which I caught the latter half of. (watched The Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle.. skipped between the 'new' fox programming and this).

It was pretty good. Better than I was expecting.. of course that might be because I've had bad miniseries event experiences as of late. (children of dune.. guh.)

If you guys didn't feel sad then, well you are just cold hearted.

I also didn't like Achilles. But I guess that's how they wanted to portray the Greeks....

I think the Odyssey is a better movie but this was still good.

Spoiler: show Though I really liked how they repeated Hector's death by Achilles, with him dragging the body around by way of chariot. I considered it to be the most infamous scene in the book. Although, it did seem that they portrayed Achilles to be too hardcore, what with the bald head and everything...
