GBA early FF speculation

as part of a "newsflash" (ie. they stopped the presses) Japanese gaming mag famitsu have made an announcement that in their next issue, they will exclusivly report on the release of Final Fantasy I and II.

Trouble is they ommited to tell us what platform this is on

- My personal bet is on a GBA version of the WSC games, but you never know: it could simply be a repackaged FFI and FFII for the WSC (which none of us have or can understand....)

how long ago was the wonderswan released?

My bet the coverage will be on the GBA version of the WSC FF1 and 2.

the wonderswan colour was released just before the GBA, but only in Japan. Square are just about the only half-decent company to support the system and have so far released and remade FF1,2 and 4 (still 3 has not been released...)

and just incase you wanted to know, the WSC is less powerful than the GBA....

Now I cant get the picture of a GBA shaped like a swan out of my head. Wonderswan could only come from Japan. Cant imagine something named Wonderswan coming from.. Germans, or something.
