That's too bad because I won't be getting it. I'm still not banked on anything from nintendo at the moment.... Then again, I'm not feeling any of those new stuff coming out so..... "shrugs"
Besides, I don't play portable games.

I reckon I may just get one of these for my birthday. Strange how for all the next-gen hype of E3, the one game that will get me buying a console in preparation for its release is Yoshi's Island 2. That's just insane crazy.

Gamer I think you meant to say Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (to go along with the DS theme) instead of outbreak.
Those are good choices Vic except for Mario Kart, I know it'll be great when I finally get it but since I don't have it or played it I really can't say anything about it. Dawn Of Sorrow is awesome though. But all the games gamer listed are all quality but I would suggest Phoenix Wright very highly though. It's a very good and quirky game and I think capcom started reprinting it again due to the unexpected good sales of the game. Trauma Center is another good game too, it really takes advantage of the stylus as a real gameplay mechanic instead of tacked on like some DS titles are. Other good ones are Lost In Blue (which is really challenging), Mario and Luigi 2: Partners In Time, Trace Memory (I know it's short but the game is just plain awesome I think you can find it for cheap new and used now.), Sonic Rush, Lost Magic and I must point out Resident Evil: Deadly Silence again. It's quite the technological feat to get the full original PSone game, voice acting and even the added rebirth mode with different enemy placements, stylus puzzles and the master of knifing mode on such a small cart and the fact that there's LAN multiplayer too. I got it and it's fantastic it's easily one of my favorites and one of those titles that is good for long or short spurts of play, it has you covered in any angle. Plus hearing Barry go "WHOA! THIS HALL IS DANGER--ROUS!" when there is nobody in it except Jill and himself is still good for a laugh. Other future titles like Contact (made by the killer 7 team grasshopper), Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (also made by the Trace Memory team and the art style used for the game is breath taking and I heard you play it on the DS sideways, like you would read a book. I think brain age plays this way too, I'm not sure though if anything I'm sure Gamer knows. ), Final Fantasy III, Lunar Knights, and Star Fox Command comes towards the end of the summer with quite a bit more on the way as well. Overall in terms of games if you take to what it offers should keep you covered in games. I wish I had a DS Lite though I really want that. I don't have enough to foot the rest of the money after I trade in my original DS, so I'm going to hold on to my older one till I can foot the money for the lite.

I'm so excited about the DSlite I could literally explode!!
But I wont... I am getting one in december... possibly for a xmas present or i'll but it myself. Nintendo DS Lite & New Super Mario Brothers for £109.99 from Amazon if bought before midnight on Dec 31st. I was waiting for it to come out in Blue but seeing as there seems to be no release date for before xmas and I'm fed up of waiting I've settled on Black. I will probably get a skin for it anyways. I haven't played nintendo since my NES broke way way waaaay back when I was a kid so I cannot wait to play Mario!!! I love that podgy little plumber! If you own a DS what colour is it? and what is your fave game so far? If you're planning to buy one, what colour are you getting? and what games are you looking forward to playing on it?

i have a white DSlite, white > black btw, smudges are hardly noticeable. i had to replace my DSlite due to cracked hinge problem, but nintendo was nice enough to send me a new one for free.
my favorite DS game is Advance Wars Dual Strike, its fucking addicting like crack, ive logged in over 60 hours of play time on this thing. games im looking forward to the most are Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass.

Things like that bring out the OCD in me... I am forever wiping my mobile because of little fingerprints and stuff I see on it... But I am not a fan of the white so It's black or nothing if I want it before 2007. I have played new super mario bros on my mates kids DS and so I assume it will be better on the dslite with the brighter screen etc I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

My girlfriend bought the pink DSlite, no smudge problem whatsoever! I'm loving the super mario game, really brings back great memories. I like the overall feel of the thing, neat piece of hardware I tell you!

Hmm.. the pink lite is just a little too pink for my liking..
I'm not the pink kind of person. And before anyone thinks that this font is pink..it's Plum! That's completely diffrent! As close as xmas is it just seems to be taking too long to arrive! I wish I had the funds to buy it right now!
