What are your thoughts about these animes?

I tried watching Scryed, and all I can say is that I'm lost. I have no idea what's going on. Who're the heroes and who're the villains. (I'm assuming the red haired guy is a villain?)

Same thing goes for Raxephon. (????) I am lost in this as well. I think what happened was that I didn't catch either one of these from the beginning.

Well, Scryed isn't a very "clear" anime. I somewhat liked it when watching the series, most of all thanks to all the little details thrown in it here and there, but some aspects of it are still a bit unclear to me. Especially towards the end, where both Ryuhou and Kazuma stories sort of come together, you as a watcher start to wonder why things are so messed up, speaking of storyline. Also, all the Alter's stuff isn't very convincing most of the time. All I can say to reply to your post trying to avoid spoiling it is: villains and good guys are not what they seem at the beginning. The "red hair guy" (are you talking about Kazuma?) isn't a villain. He's actually the hero of the show In Scryed there aren't very "appealing" villains. This is probably one of the weakest aspects of this series. Some kind of villain makes an appearance later, looking somewhat out of place and uninteresting, while the main fact is the whole organization and political power behind HOLD and HOLY is corrupt, so that is where you have to look for true evil in this show.

Anything you can tell me about Rah-Xep-Hon? Or you haven't seen it yet? I am very lost in that show. So far all I've gathered from it was that they need this guy to pilot a robot against something..... And from what I've seen almost 2 hrs ago made me even more confused. Why was the guy slapped? What happened to make him get slapped???? Oh well. I'll probably buy this one since it's caught my attention.
