mans best friend R.I.P.
This morning we, my family and I, had to have our dog of 13 years put down. He's the only dog I have ever had/known, we got him when I was 6 years old and I'm almost 19 now so I guess you can imagine how hard it is to say goodbye to a pet that becomes a part of the family like Roger did living for a good two-thirds of my life.

I'm very sorry
It's really sad when you lose a pet... it's really like losing a member of the family. *hugs* |

My condolensces, friend. I have lost 2 dogs in my lifetime and it was not easy. Dogs are special pets because they have such human-like characteristics and are such empathatic and caring beings. They truly are mans best friend. I am sure your dog in particular was very unique and special. Remember that Roger is always in your heart. Animals are such important companions in our lives.
RIP Roger _RED_ stuff

I am really sorry. I know that losing a pet is like losing a person you love... all I can say is treasure all the moments and all you have learnt from your furry brother.

Bro,
Like Harry said, treasuring the moments and things you learned from Roger are the best thing you can do. I think that is the reason I have never had a pet, since I was little, I always wanted a pet dog, but as I grew up I understood that death was part of the equation, so that has kept me from having one. But I believe that the benefits far outweighed the pain that parting from him is. You and your family have each other and the strength to go through this. I wish you guys well.

Man, so sorry to hear that. I know first hand how heartbreaking it can be to put a pet down. Always remember the good times, and that you gave him a good life.
