i just started watching the series on adult swim, seen the first 3 episodes so far, i must say this is by far the craziest, weidest show ive seen. but for some reason this anime got me hooked, with all the random stuff going on, good mixed of comedy and action, fricking love it.

FLCL is cool, I like it a lot. I've watched it on DVD, in Japanese with subtitles, and then had the occasion to see a dubbed version of it too. The original sounds a lot better, as usual! It's a very entertaining funny series. Too bad it's not a very long anime

But I guess making it longer would ruin the madness of it (not sure though: Excel Saga for example is another incredibly weird series and it's 26 episodes). Anyway, you can't expect anything bad from Gainax, can you?

I saw the first adn third episodes. The show is strange... REAL strange

but still funny in its own way.

I wish they aired it earlier as I wake up at 4 every morning and I should be asleep before 12 if I'm gonna stay awake all day.

I caught some fragments of it last night on Adult Swim, and pretty much didn't get it at all...lol

Yeah, the first episode got more interesting when I had saw all of it, like I've said before I saw it in front of a video store and the first few minutes really got me hooked. I missed the second episode so I'll wait for them to get back to the second episode before I watch anymore.

Anyway I think the show is good. The first was way too weird but the third actually seemed to have a story line. The music is great and I think that makes the show.

I just like to see something from the start and if I miss an episode I kinda lose interest in the rest, that is until I see what i miss. I have a question, are all the episodes connected?

I saw this anime a while ago. The first time I watched it I was completely confused. The more than spontaneous moments were what made me like the show. The music, as well, is great.

By this time, I can say I've watched the 6 episodes of FLCL about 8 times. It has taken me that much to be able to grasp the meaning of such a whacked out storyline, and even then, not fully.
Now that I sorta get it, it's actually... pretty deep.

Really. Gainax has no creative boundries. ^_^
