Viz liscensing means that the UK is unlikely to get the series, so I guess this is bad news. Can't say I know the series mind you... will have to check it out sometime...

guess what, its coming to cartoon network, on its toonami block, fall of 2005.

That's pretty cool and interesting. Once again, hopefully it doesn't suck and the anime isn't as butchered as One Piece was.

yea I know, I started with the manga and then switched to the show just to see the Chunnin exam and stayed with it ever since

and I just found out itll be out in Summer 2005 on Cartoon Network

let the bad dubbing and changed names, COMMENCE

nah, VIZ is doing it so at very least we will get minor edits and some decent dubs. remember these are the same guys that dub the Inuyasha series, and they did a good job on the dub english version.

They did? In my eyes the english dub was horrid in contrast to the japanese voices.

with everyone trying to be all rated G on television nowadays, that doesnt sound like "parent-liking" material. Even Toonami couldnt air that Family Guy episode where he sings a joke about jewish people without disclaimers
