try Drakkan 2 it's a sort of action adventure RPG. Another one is Buldars Gate DA..uhh Grandia 2 also.

dynasty warriors 3 is excellent, as is its predecessor. Don't get NBA2k1, get NBA Street (and NBA2k2 is out now too)

Devil May Cry is an awesome game, as is Rumble Racing (though it's old, I love it)

Another relatively old game is Star Wars Starfighter: fantastic game

Red Faction is very good also, though I personnally don't like FPS's.

If it was 1, id go with either NBA street or dynasty warriors 3

PS. Jak and Daxter is also v. good, just buy a PS2 mag for crying out loud!

no offense ludaman, but this thread is ages old and i have far had my ps2 for about 2 wks now so there is no use for reviving this thread again, jus to let ya know ludaman

and i am far happy with the game i got, twisted metal black
