Hmm... I'm not sure what the Admins stance on this will be... You see, Changing Name is now linked to the "Change Username" option in the Store. It costs 42800 credits. That's a lot of posting to do / Arcade Games to play ^^. I mean, I don't think I can afford a Name Change yet.

Hehe... Not even Real-Life name changes are that expensive. Lots of paper work though ^^

Yes, the staff members don't do name changes anymore. Usually I was the one who took care of this. After installing the store hack we decided to let people change their names only by spending credits (gils). The price is so high to avoid people changing it several times, especially newbies, which may result very confusing for other members. You need a lot of posting before you can afford to buy a name change. I know this may sound unfair to some, but again, it was mainly to give every member the same opportunity to get a name change. Before it happened some members requested and obtained it several times, while other members never made a single request. Members who can afford it are now able to change their names without a formal request to the staff.
