MGS: Portable Ops
I noticed that there weren't any threads about this here PSP game released last year - hell, there seems to have been only one new thread or two in the past 12 months(!) - but I was just wondering if anyone else here has it??
I bought it last December, and being for the PSP and all, was a damn fine game. Story fleshed out a few details here and there, and the "recruiting" mechanic was pretty interesting as well. My only gripe was the fact that the controls didn't translate well at all to the online competitive arena. I think it's mostly the camera, but damn do I get my ass handed to me almost every time I jump on. Needless to say, I don't go online with it too often. I also thought I'd bring up the game because of the recently released MGS PO+ (at least in Japan) - can't remember the specifics too well, but the expansion adds a bit more to the experience, including playing as MGS4 Snake in some circumstances. So, anyone here played/still play/go online with it? |

*sigh* I bought the game so I have it...problem is, I don't have a PSP. And until I get one, I don't think I'll ever be able to experience the glory of the sequel to MGS3.
I also read about MGSPO+ and I'm pretty sad because I also would love the extra additions but I think it will be a JP only release.

I haven't tried it online nor am I too interested in doing that, this is simply not the kind of game I play for that, I have always liked MGS more for the cinematic experience than anything else. I did play adhoc with somebody that happened to have the game as well and it was fun, but nothing otherworldly. I still haven't tried Ops+, will definitely have a few words for it when I do!
