*jawdrops at new specs* Spank, you lucky sod. Wish I had that computer. >_> I'm thinking about snagging an Alienware Area 51, myself. I'm not so good at this point with hardware that I could build my own without it ending up wrong in many, many ways. I just got UT 2003 too and my supposed monster of a computer is running it at 20 fps with jaggarific graphics, so I think it's time to upgrade however I can.. but here they are anyway.
P4- 1.8 Ghz 512 MB RDRAM NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 Pro (..which is actually a 32 MB card. Bastards marked it as being a GeForce2 64MB one when I bought this.) SoundMAX Integrated (argh! unupgradeable) Digital Audio DVD/CD-RW 80 Gigabytes total HD XP Home Edition

Since my knowledge in PC's is limited, m list of specs ain't that big, just the essentials
-P4 1.6 GHz -512 MB DDR -80 GB Ultra ATA/100 -DVD rom -CD RW -Memory stick unit -19' flat screen -Windows XP -Cable connection, supposed to be 10Mbit/sec (that means it would be super freaking fast, but it behaves like if it was just 150 k, I dunno why) It's a Sony VAIO, BTW.

As I said before, I'm quite ignorant about this stuff.... all I can tell you is that my service provider is Road Runner But I really can not tell you how much my step dad pays for it right now, I got no clue.

When I asked for specs I didn't expect stuff like FREE game mags, FREE T-Shirts and personalised manuals and such!
The more I read it the more I know you're lying again Triks! For those of you who don't know, see this thread here. This will illustrate Trik's previous claims... Here is the thread where the truth came out... - S

Man. A lot of people have VAIO systems here.
Question, did all of you get tricked into buying a system with only a 32MB vid card like I did, or was my local CompUSA unique in mismarking the product? Oh, yah. Triktopz, I believe you about your computer, man. Really. I do.

"Not that good of a computer"? That right there proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that you're lying. Not only are Alienware PC's some of the best on the market but the specs you listed are the absolute peak of gaming PC's. The only way you could get better is if you linked up dual processors and went with 2 Gigabytes of ram (which you will never use all of).. Y'know what? Just be quiet. Your lying is annoying.

Another thing, AlienWare makes custom computers, what do you mean when you say you want to get a custom one...? Let me guess... your company paid almost $5000 for it? Quote:
