What? how can Cloud...
I noticed this a long time ago but nows when i remember because i was looking for some new material online under google. I was looking for FF7 by the way so... I remember an observation i accidentally did a long time ago:
https://www.imagestation.com/picture/...f/fb83c20b.jpg Look at Clouds Right arm (the one holding the huge sword) in the boxart picture of FF7 in the front cover of the American release box and tell me if you can put your hand in that position. Its impossible, at least for me. Ok you dont know it yet? just try to put your hand in the same possition as cloud and tell me if it hurts. Hehe, its an observation i did some time ago. AND NO don't come up with "Cloud is supernatural" because hes not. Hehe, im cheap i know. I made this same thread in another forum with exactly the same writing as the above. Oh well... This is its own forum so...what do you think? aint it painful? |

Wimp. That's not painful. Well actually it used to be for me. But that's because I was having some problems with my shoulder and it hurt like hell to do anything with it. But I had to do a stretch where I put my arm in basically that same kind of position so I'm used to it.

Blindman, have you ever played Soul Calibur? Have you seen how Siegfried wields his sword?
The position the arm adapts is indeed uncomfortable, but a swordsman that fights with a sword bigger than himself, think about it, has to be goddamned strong. It's just a matter of strength.

*sigh* its not about strength everyone its about your shoulder blade. The onlyway you can make your hand go in that position is if your shoulderblade litterally goes on spinal colum.
And no i didnt care about Sould Calibur, it was too overrated. And im not a wimp because my muscles are built the way they are. |

Maybe I can't see the position, because I have no difficulties doing it with some object that of course doesn't weight as that sword. Obviously the problem would be carrying that huge sword itself, not the position of the shoulder, I suppose. But again, maybe I can't see very well.

My comments stays, i dont think anyone else sees it, Hylas was probably the onlyone who got her point across but anyway, i think that noone else sees this. You cant see it? ok let me tell you. Clouds freakin shoulder is facing the camera, you try and do that! His freakin shoulder twisted a way that is anatomically impossible, so the onlyway you can do it is if your shoulder blade was taken out and your shoulder had another joint, meaning your shoulder would have to be triple jointed and your shoulder blade has to be out of its place for you to do that. Unless, you come up with something else... oh and dont try and offend, or dont try and be rude because, i seriously dont appreciate that, i just find more ways to return it. Think about my thread for awhile and look at the picture before you call me a Wimp (Preventer Wind) try and compare my point to some game (frozen) or say that your dad can beat mine (hero). But you know what i just noticed about the pic? the shoulder IS in its proper place its actually possible to do that possition...maybe i should look at the picture more closely. |

Can't take a joke? It's not about how strong you are it's about how flexible you are any way. I don't understand how you can say his shoulder is facing the camera when it is covered up by his sword. But oh well....if you think I was being rude then that's your problem.

Thinking about the approximate angle that he's got his hand I don't have a problem if I were to draw a sword like that. So, it's the angle and how high he has to put his hand up to do it.

I actually tried to do it. Thing is, i saw the hand in a different angle, i thought i had seen it in like some other angle of flex.
Sorry everyone for causing inapropriate comments about everyone else... |

Blinman, what I was trying to get to is that it is actually possible to hold a sword, machete, club, etc. in that position, but it definitely recquires certain muscular strength and flexibility, and I never said you were a wimp or even implied it (or at least did not mean to)

Yeah, I'd like to see FFX-2s box art. The game itself looks awesome. Oh yeah, this one, I like the snow or whatever it is and the view of something that seems like a building.

Depends on the success of Final Fantasy X2 in America and Final Fantasy XII or how the hype goes. I highly doubt it, at least I hope it doesn't because the only way it would is if Square's success starts to decline, then they would use it as a sort of "Trump Card", while on the other hand if they release good material, it probably won't see the light of day.
